The Audion AD547 AVST-2 is a stainless steel vertical continuous band sealer built for packaging lines where bags must be sealed upright. Powders, granules, liquids, and other free-flowing products that would spill in a horizontal sealer stay contained throughout the sealing cycle. Built from full stainless steel for food, pharmaceutical, and cleanroom environments where hygiene and durability are non-negotiable.
A 90-degree tilting sealing head lets operators switch between vertical and horizontal sealing on the same machine, so one piece of equipment covers both orientations. Nine pre-programmed process recipes store temperature, speed, and height settings per product line. Switching between bag types takes seconds rather than minutes of manual adjustment. The electrically adjustable machine and conveyor heights accommodate different bag sizes without tools.
PTFE seal belts handle polythene, polypropylene, cellophane, paper, aluminium, and laminated films. A rubber guide system keeps the conveyor belt centred automatically (no manual tracking adjustment needed). The digital control panel manages all operating parameters including an automatic cool-down function that protects the sealing elements between runs. Product infeed runs right to left as standard, with left-to-right available as a factory option.

Q: What is the difference between the AD547AVST and the AD547AHS?
The AD547AVST seals bags in the vertical (upright) position. The AD547AHS is the horizontal version of the same machine. Both share the same digital control panel, 9 recipe memory, and stainless steel construction. Choose vertical when your product would spill or settle unevenly if sealed flat (powders, granules, liquids). The tilting head on the AVST also allows horizontal sealing when needed.
Q: What bag materials can the AD547AVST seal?
Polythene (PE), polypropylene (PP), cellophane, paper, aluminium foil, and laminated films. The adjustable seal pressure and temperature settings let operators optimise for each material thickness from light-duty thermoplastics through to heavy-duty laminates.
Q: How fast does it seal?
Variable speed up to 10 metres per minute. In practice, throughput depends on how quickly an operator can load bags onto the infeed plate. The 9 pre-programmed recipes store your optimal speed and temperature settings per product line, so switching between runs is immediate.
