Element Wires

Heating element wires are the resistive wire inside impulse heat sealer elements. They are the part that actually generates the heat to form the seal.

Over time, element wires weaken, develop hot spots, or snap entirely. When this happens, the sealer produces inconsistent or failed seals. Replacing the wire restores performance.

Wire or Element Kit?

Element wires are the raw wire only. If you also need the PTFE cover tape, order a full element kit — it includes the wire, PTFE tape, and fixing clips. Kits are faster to install and ensure everything is replaced together.

How to Identify the Right Wire

  • Check your seal length in mm
  • Check the wire gauge (usually listed on the element casing)
  • Check your machine model for exact compatibility

Fitting

Element wires can be fitted in the field without specialist tools. Instructions are included. If you need guidance, call 0121 704 0294.
