- Description
Heat sealer spares kit for 400mm foot pedal impulse sealers. Fits the KSF400, KS400A and most other 400mm foot operated models with 5mm seal bars.
What's included:
- 2x flat heating element wires (400mm seal length, 5mm width)
- 1x roll lower PTFE (Teflon) tape
The 5mm wide element gives a broader seal than standard 2mm hand sealer wire. Foot pedal machines run harder than hand models, so the wider wire takes more punishment per shift. Keep a spare kit on the shelf to avoid downtime.
When to replace: Dark spots, pitting, or visible breaks along the element. If seals are inconsistent or the timer needs turning up, the wire's past its best.
