- Description
Heat sealer spares kit for 500mm foot pedal impulse sealers. Fits the KS500A and most other 500mm foot operated models with 5mm seal bars.
What's included:
- 2x flat heating element wires (500mm seal length, 5mm width)
- 1x roll lower PTFE (Teflon) tape
At 500mm, you're sealing larger bags and the element takes more stress across the full bar length. Foot pedal operation means higher throughput than hand sealing, so wire life is shorter. A spare kit on the shelf keeps you running when the element goes.
When to replace: Patchy seals or weak spots at the ends of the bar are the first signs. Dark marks or breaks on the wire mean it's finished. Don't wait for a complete failure mid-run.
