The PSF315DD 300mm Constant Heat Sealer is the ideal choice for retailers and small producers who need reliable sealing performance on tougher materials such as foil laminates, kraft paper laminates, and cellophane. Designed for consistent results, this direct‑heat model maintains a steady temperature across both jaws, ensuring deeper heat penetration and a strong, crimped seal every time.
Built with durability in mind, the PSF315DD features a robust stainless‑steel heating system, an electronic temperature controller ranging from 0–300°C, and a comfortable pedestal‑mounted working height for hands‑free operation. Its 300mm seal length and 15mm crimped seal width make it perfect for coffee pouches, tea packaging, spices, confectionery, and premium laminated retail bags that impulse sealers struggle to handle.
With minimal maintenance requirements and long‑life heating elements, this constant heat sealer offers dependable performance day after day. Whether you’re upgrading your packaging line or adding a professional sealing solution to your retail workspace, this machine delivers consistent quality and ease of use.
Foil coffee pouches are the classic job. Coffee roasters run these for exactly the laminate that impulse elements cannot weld properly, and the same goes for food producers in foil stand-up pouches, tea and spice packers in paper laminates, and anyone sealing cellophane. The electronic controller sets the jaw temperature anywhere from 0 to 300 degrees C, the foot pedal closes the jaws, and the seal comes out crimped and consistent.
As a constant heat foot sealer it keeps both hands free for the pouch, working standing at the 800mm pedestal height. Supplied with stand, pedestal, and adjustable worktable.
Maintenance is minimal. There is no element wire, PTFE, or silicone to change as on an impulse sealer; the heating elements are long-life spares rather than routine consumables. The jaws need an occasional clean with a light wire brush, and that is the routine.
Enhance your packaging reliability and give your products a premium finish — upgrade to the 300mm Constant Heat Sealer today.

Common questions
Can the PSF315DD seal polythene bags?
No. The jaws are constantly hot, so polythene melts and burns onto them. For polythene you want an impulse sealer, which only heats while the jaws are closed. See our guide to foot pedal heat sealers.
What is the difference between constant heat and impulse sealing?
An impulse sealer heats its element only while the jaws are closed, which suits thin films that melt quickly. A constant heat sealer holds both jaws at a pre-set temperature the whole time, giving deeper heat penetration for materials that need it: foil laminates, kraft paper laminates, and cellophane.
Will it seal my pouches?
Foil coffee pouches are the classic job for this machine, and most foil or paper laminate pouches seal well on it. If you are not sure about your material, send us a sample bag. We will seal it in the workshop and tell you which machine fits. Free.
Is a direct heat sealer the same as a constant heat sealer?
Yes. Both names describe the same design: jaws held at a constant pre-set temperature, rather than the brief pulse an impulse sealer fires. Some suppliers also call them heated jaw or heated bar sealers. If a listing says any of these, it works the way this machine does.
How much does a constant heat sealer cost?
The PSF315DD is £349 ex VAT with the stand, pedestal, and worktable included. The PSF415DD is the wider 400mm version. Both are stocked in the UK and dispatched from our Solihull warehouse.
