Heating Elements

Heating elements are the core consumable for impulse heat sealers. They wear out with use. Replacing them on time keeps your seals clean and consistent.

A worn or damaged element causes uneven seals, seal failures, or burn marks on the bag. If your seals look patchy or your bags are coming unsealed, the element is usually the cause.

How to Identify the Right Element

You need three measurements:

  • Seal length (the length of the element in mm)
  • Element width (usually 2mm or 3mm for impulse sealers)
  • Your machine model (check the label on the base)

How Often to Replace

For light daily use: every 3–6 months. For heavy production use: every 4–8 weeks. Replace the PTFE (Teflon) cover tape at the same time — they work as a pair.

Compatibility

Each listing specifies which machine models the element fits. Check the compatibility list before ordering. If you are unsure, call 0121 704 0294 — we will confirm the right part for your machine.
