The PSC-1100V is a stainless steel, floor standing vertical continuous band sealer for sealing large pre-made bags standing upright. It suits production lines packaging powders, granules, liquids, and bulk products that would spill if sealed lying flat: the bag stays vertical from loading to discharge, so the contents never have to.
The height-adjustable conveyor is synchronised to the sealing unit, so bag speed and seal quality stay consistent as you change bag sizes. Seal temperature, printer temperature, and conveyor speed set independently from the control panel. The whole machine stands on lockable caster wheels, so it can be positioned and repositioned on the production floor as the line changes. Bags feed in from the right and exit sealed on the left.
This is the machine to specify when a tabletop band sealer with a vertical conversion kit runs out of headroom. Converted tabletop machines cap out around 300mm of bag height; the PSC-1100V takes bags up to 600mm tall with up to 15kg riding on the conveyor, which is the difference between sealing pouches and sealing sacks.

What bag sizes can it seal?
Bags from 150mm up to 600mm tall, with up to 15kg riding on the conveyor. The seal itself is a 10mm continuous band seal. If your bag is taller or heavier than that, call us on 0121 704 0294 and we will point you at the right machine.
What products suit a vertical band sealer?
Anything that would spill, settle, or smear if the bag were laid flat: powders, granules, liquids, and bulk products. The bag stays upright from loading to discharge, so the contents stay where they should while the seal closes.
How is this different from a vertical conversion kit on a tabletop band sealer?
