The PSV605a is a 600mm vertical sack sealer for bags that have to stay upright through filling and sealing. Powders, granules, liquids, loose materials: anything that would spill or settle badly if you laid the bag flat. Also sold as a vertical heat sealer or vertical bag sealing machine, it is the single-heat entry point to our PSV line.
You fill from above, the contents settle by gravity, and the machine seals across the top. Common jobs include animal feed, garden aggregates, firewood sacks, food ingredients, and chemical powders. Pedestal mounted at 850mm working height with an adjustable support shelf holding the bag in position; the foot switch leaves both hands free for bag handling.
The 5mm seal width handles the heavier polythene and woven materials sacks are made from. An automatic timer controls the seal cycle for consistent results across films from 2 x 25 to 2 x 150 micron, at up to 10 packages per minute.

Common questions
When do I need a vertical sealer instead of a flat one?
When laying the bag down would spill or disturb the contents. Powders, granules, liquids, and loose materials all settle by gravity in an upright sack; a vertical sealer lets you fill from above and seal across the top with the bag still standing.
What is the difference between the PSV605a and the double heat versions?
The PSV605a heats from one jaw, which suits standard sack polythene. The double heat models heat from both jaws for heavier and laminated sack materials: the PSV605x2a with a 5mm seal and the PSV608x2a with a wide 8mm seal for weight-bearing sacks.
How is it delivered?
On a pallet. PSV sealers are heavy machines on substantial stands, so they ship palletised to a kerbside or goods-in delivery point. We dispatch from our Solihull warehouse and confirm the delivery arrangements with you after ordering.
What sack materials does it seal?
