The PSV605x2a is a 600mm double heat vertical sack sealer with a 5mm seal. This vertical sealing machine does the same upright job as our single-heat model (fill from above, seal across the top, contents settle by gravity) but heats from both jaws, so the seal penetrates the heavier films and laminated sacks a single element struggles with.
Foot switch operation keeps both hands free for the bag, and in automatic mode the jaws close at pre-set intervals so the operator just feeds sacks. Pedestal mounted at 850mm working height with an adjustable support shelf taking the bag's weight during the seal. The adjustable timer covers films from 2 x 25 to 2 x 150 micron, at up to 10 packages per minute.

Important note
A spike in electrical demand can occur for a fraction of a second as the jaws close and heat is applied, which can trip the breaker. This is common with motors on start-up, so we recommend a C type breaker (motor rated) or a B32 type. A B type breaker may trip when current exceeds the limit for around 100 milliseconds, whereas a C type allows a longer period before tripping. This sealer can exceed 20 amps (B20) for more than 100 milliseconds, but stays under 32 amps (B32).
Common questions
What is the difference between the PSV605x2a and PSV605a?
Heat from both jaws instead of one. The PSV605a single heat model suits standard sack polythene; the PSV605x2a's double heat penetrates heavier and laminated sack materials that a single element struggles to weld.
When do I need the 8mm version instead?
When the filled sack carries real weight. A wider weld spreads the load along the seal instead of concentrating it on a narrow line. That is the PSV608x2a: same machine, 8mm seal.
What products suit a vertical sack sealer?
Anything that has to stay upright through filling and sealing: animal feed, garden aggregates, firewood sacks, food ingredients, chemical powders, and liquids. You fill from above, the contents settle by gravity, and the machine seals across the top.
Can it seal laminated sacks?
That is the point of the double heat. Heavier and laminated sack materials need heat reaching the film from both faces to weld properly; a single element often leaves a seal that looks closed and peels under load. If you are unsure about your sack, send us a sample and we will test it. Free.
