- Description
The PSH210B is a Kingstar 200mm hand impulse sealer with a 10mm wide seal, five times the width of a standard 2mm hand sealer weld. Specify it when the seal itself has to carry real load: heavier gauge bags, fuller bags, contents that press against the closure in transit.
It seals plastic bags and pouches up to 180mm wide, with the adjustable timer matching films from 2 x 25 to 2 x 150 micron at roughly 2 to 6 packages per minute. The seal also has an option for adding a code, so a batch or date reference can be pressed into the weld itself. The compact 100mm x 320mm footprint holds its place on a crowded bench.

Common questions
Why choose a 10mm seal over a standard 2mm?
Strength and tolerance. A 10mm band spreads the weld across five times the width, so it holds on heavier gauge bags and fuller bags whose contents press against the closure. It is also more forgiving of slightly creased or dusty film than a thin 2mm line.
What is the code marking option?
A batch or date reference can be pressed into the 10mm weld itself as the bag is sealed, so the marking travels with the bag without a separate labelling step. Call 0121 704 0294 and we will set you up with the right characters.
What films can it seal?
Polythene and similar heat-sealable films from 2 x 25 to 2 x 150 micron, on bags up to 180mm wide. If you are unsure about your bag, send us a sample and we will seal it on the machine. Free.
How much does a wide-seal hand sealer cost?
The PSH210B is £169.98 ex VAT. The premium over a standard 2mm hand sealer buys the 10mm weld and the code-marking option, which is the difference between a bag that stays shut in transit and one that doesn't.
