The PSH402V is a 400mm heat sealer for small warehouses and packaging lines that need the wider seal length without the higher price of a metal-body model. It seals polythene bags up to 380mm wide at 6 to 8 per minute.
The plastic body brings the weight down to 3.5kg, roughly 2kg lighter than the cutter-equipped PSH402C. Same 400mm seal length, same 2mm seal width, same film range from 2 x 25 to 2 x 150 micron. The difference: no cutter, no metal frame. If you are sealing pre-made bags rather than cutting from roll stock, this is the more practical choice.

What does the V model give up against the metal-body machines?
The metal frame and the cutter. The plastic body is lighter (3.5kg) and cheaper, and seals the same 380mm bags with the same 2mm weld. For occasional and light daily use it is the practical choice; for a bench that seals all day, the metal-body PSH402 holds its alignment longer.
What films can it seal?
Polythene and similar heat-sealable films from 2 x 25 to 2 x 150 micron, on bags up to 380mm wide. If you are unsure about your bag, send us a sample and we will seal it on the machine. Free.
How much does a budget 400mm heat sealer cost?
The PSH402V is £46.99 ex VAT, the lowest-cost route to a 400mm seal in the PackSealer family. Replacement elements and PTFE come in the PSH402 spares kit.
