- Description
The PSH402C is a 400mm heat sealer with cutter, built for warehouses and fulfilment operations that work with roll stock or polythene tubing. It seals and trims in one station, so you can cut bags to length from a roll without reaching for separate scissors or a blade.
The side-mounted cutter runs the full width of the sealing arm. Seal first, then slide the cutter across to trim. It handles bags and tubing up to 380mm wide, with the adjustable timer covering films from 2 x 25 to 2 x 150 micron. Supplied with a spare PTFE strip, replacement element, and cutter blade in the box. Throughput sits at 6 to 10 packages per minute depending on bag size and film weight.

Common questions
How does the cutter work?
The blade is built into the sealer arm and runs its full width. Seal the bag first, then slide the cutter across to trim the excess, or to cut a bag to length from roll stock or tubing. One station, no scissors.
Can I make my own bags with it?
Yes. Run polythene layflat tubing or roll stock up to 380mm wide through it: seal the bottom, cut to length, fill, then seal the top. Fulfilment operations use it to stop stocking a dozen pre-made bag sizes.
What spares does it take?
Element wire, PTFE strip, and cutter blade. A spare of each comes in the box, and the PSH402 spares kit covers replacements. Elements are made here in the UK and held in stock.
