The PSF355 is a 350mm foot pedal impulse sealer, the simplest machine in the foot pedal family. You lower the sealing bar with the pedal, the timer controls the heat, and the bag is sealed. For a bench sealing modest volumes by hand, it is the most economical route to a proper 5mm production seal.
It seals bags and pouches up to 325mm wide (13"), with the adjustable timer matched to films from 2 x 25 to 2 x 150 micron, at up to 6 packages per minute. The standard seal is 5mm wide; a 10mm conversion is available where heavier bags need a wider weld. Supplied complete with stand, pedestal, adjustable worktable, and a spare element, at a working height of 875mm.
The pedal does the clamping on this machine, so seal timing rests with the operator's rhythm. If several people share the bench, or you need every seal identical across a long shift, the automatic PSF355A completes the cycle itself once the pedal is pressed.

Common questions
What is the difference between the PSF355 and the PSF355A?
Timing. On the PSF355 the operator holds the pedal and the timer fires the heat; on the PSF355A the whole cycle completes automatically once the pedal is pressed, so every seal is identical whoever is operating. If one person seals a few dozen bags a day, the manual is fine. Shared benches and long shifts want the automatic.
Can it produce a wider seal than 5mm?
Yes. A 10mm conversion is available for heavier bags that need a wider weld. The standard machine seals at 5mm, which covers most polythene bags and pouches. Call 0121 704 0294 and we will advise which your bag needs.
What films can it seal?
Polythene and similar heat-sealable films from 2 x 25 to 2 x 150 micron, set on the adjustable timer. If you are unsure about your bag, send us a sample and we will seal it on the machine and tell you. Free.
How much does a foot pedal heat sealer cost?
