The PSHK302 is a 300mm hand impulse sealer with a 3mm seal width, a half-step wider than the standard 2mm weld. It provides a watertight, airtight seal on flat and gusseted polythene bags and polythene tubing, with no warm-up and no hot or cold spots along the jaw.
Impulse sealing means the element only heats while the jaw is closed, so no power is drawn between bags. The adjustable timer matches the heat to polythene up to 2 x 120 micron. Rated for light duty work, up to around 200 seals per shift; for all-day production sealing, step up to a foot pedal sealer.

Common questions
What is the difference between the PSHK302 and the PSH302?
The seal. The PSHK302 (black) lays a 3mm weld and is rated for polythene up to 2 x 120 micron at around 200 seals per shift; the PSH302 (blue) is the standard 2mm machine. If your bags are gusseted or you want the slightly wider weld, this is the one.
Can it seal gusseted bags and tubing?
Yes. It provides a watertight, airtight seal on flat and gusseted polythene bags and on polythene layflat tubing, with no hot or cold spots along the 300mm jaw.
What maintenance does it need?
An element wire and PTFE strip, replaced when seals start looking weak or stripey. The parts listed on this page under spares all fit, and the elements are made here in the UK.
