The PSH302 is a 300mm hand impulse sealer, the simplest and most economical way to seal light duty polythene and polypropylene bags up to 280mm wide. Lower the jaw, hold while the light is on, release. The bag is sealed.
Impulse sealing means the element only heats while the jaw is closed, so there is no warm-up time and no power drawn between bags. The adjustable timer matches the heat to films from 2 x 25 to 2 x 150 micron, sealing at a 2mm width, at roughly 2 to 4 packages per minute.
The 300mm jaw is the most useful all-round size on a packing bench: wide enough for most mailing bags and pouches, compact enough to live next to the tape gun. If you cut bags from roll stock, the PSH302C adds a sliding cutter to the same machine.

Common questions
How does an impulse sealer work?
The element under the PTFE strip heats only while the jaw is closed and current flows. Hold the jaw down while the light is on, give it a couple of seconds to cool under pressure, and the seal is done. No warm-up time, no power used between bags.
What is the difference between this and the PSH302C?
The PSH302C adds a sliding cutter blade to the sealer arm, so you can seal and trim in one motion, or cut bags to length from roll stock. If you only seal pre-made bags, the plain PSH302 does the job for less.
What maintenance does it need?
An element wire and PTFE strip, replaced when seals start looking weak or stripey. The parts listed on this page under spares all fit, and the elements are made here in the UK.
How much does a 300mm impulse sealer cost?
The PSH302 is £99.99 ex VAT. It is the most useful all-round size on a packing bench, and spares for it are stocked in our Solihull warehouse.
