The PSF455X2A-HD is the heavy-duty build of our 450mm double automatic foot sealer, for heavy gauge bags, sacks, and foil-based laminates. Double heat (upper and lower elements) welds both faces of the material at once, and the reinforced stand takes the weight of larger bags while you load them.
In automatic mode the sealer closes at preset intervals without the operator touching the foot switch. The working height is 900mm, a touch taller than the standard machines, sized for sack work. The adjustable timer covers films from 2 x 25 to 2 x 150 micron, at up to 10 packages per minute. Supplied with the heavy-duty stand, pedestal, adjustable worktable, and a spare element.
At 55kg it is a substantially heavier build than the standard PSF455X2A (35kg). Specify the HD when the bags themselves are heavy: the stand and worktable carry the load so the seal jaws stay aligned.

What makes this the heavy-duty model?
The build. At 55kg against the standard X2A's 35kg, with a reinforced stand and a 900mm working height sized for sack work, it is made for bags whose contents are heavy enough to strain a standard pedestal. The stand and worktable carry the load so the seal jaws stay aligned.
Can it seal foil bags?
Yes, foil-based laminates are what the double seal is specified for. Send us a sample bag and we will seal it on the machine and send it back to you. Free.
How does the automatic mode work?
Set the interval and the jaws close on that rhythm without the foot switch being pressed each time. The operator's hands stay free for loading, which matters more on this machine than most, because the bags it is built for need two hands.
