The PSF455X2 is a double heat foot pedal sealer with a 450mm seal length. It heats from the top and bottom jaws simultaneously, giving better heat penetration through thicker polythene, laminate, and multi-layer films than a single-sided sealer can manage.
The 5mm seal width can be converted to 8mm for even heavier material. Foot pedal operation at 875mm working height, supplied with stand, pedestal, adjustable worktable, and spare element. The 1500W dual element delivers the extra power needed for sealing from both sides, with the adjustable timer covering films from 2 x 25 to 2 x 150 micron. Handles bags up to around 430mm wide.
If you want the double-heat weld with an automatic cycle, the PSF455X2A closes at preset intervals so the operator never touches the pedal mid-run.

Common questions
What does double heat mean?
Heating elements above and below the bag, instead of below only. Both faces of the film melt together at once, which is what thicker polythene, laminates, and multi-layer films need for a clean weld. Single-element machines rely on heat soaking through from one side.
Can it seal wider than 5mm?
Yes. The 5mm seal converts to 8mm for even heavier material. Call 0121 704 0294 and we will advise which width your bag needs, or send us a sample and we will test it.
What is the difference between the PSF455X2 and the PSF455X2A?
The cycle. On the X2 the operator works the pedal for each seal; the X2A closes automatically at preset intervals, so the operator loads with both hands while the machine keeps the rhythm. The X2A also runs heavier gauges (2 x 100 to 2 x 250 micron).
