The PSF455 is a heavy-duty foot pedal heat sealer with a 450mm seal length and a wide 10mm seal. That 10mm width is five times the standard 2mm and produces a weld strong enough for thicker polythene, woven sacks, and bags carrying significant weight.
Pedestal mounted with adjustable worktable, giving a stable hands-free sealing station. Throughput reaches up to 20 packages per minute on lighter films, with the adjustable timer covering 2 x 25 to 2 x 150 micron. It handles bags up to 430mm wide. If you want this seal length with an automatic cycle and a standard-width seal, the PSF455A is the one to look at.

Common questions
Why does it have a 10mm seal instead of 2mm?
Strength. A 10mm weld spreads the bond across five times the width of a standard 2mm seal, which is what thicker polythene, woven sacks, and heavily loaded bags need to stay shut in transit. If your bags are standard polythene with modest contents, the 2mm PSF455A is the more economical fit.
What is the difference between the PSF455 and the PSF455A?
Seal width and cycle control. The PSF455 gives the wide 10mm heavy-duty seal with the operator working the pedal; the PSF455A gives a standard 2mm seal with an automatic timer cycle, so every seal is identical whoever operates it.
What films can it seal?
Polythene and similar heat-sealable films from 2 x 25 to 2 x 150 micron, including thicker bags and woven sack material that lighter machines cannot weld reliably. If you are unsure about your bag, send us a sample and we will seal it on the machine. Free.
