The PSF605a is a 600mm automatic heat sealer with foot pedal operation. It pairs the wide 600mm seal length with an automatic timer that controls the seal cycle, so every bag gets the same result without the operator judging the timing.
Pedestal mounted at 870mm working height, sealing bags up to 580mm wide. The 2mm seal width covers standard polythene, laminates, and lighter films, adjustable from 2 x 25 to 2 x 150 micron, at up to 6 packages per minute. If your bags carry heavier loads and need a stronger bond, the manual PSF605 with its 5mm seal width is the better fit.
The automatic timer is what separates this from the manual foot sealers. On a packing line with more than one operator, or a long shift, seal quality stops depending on who is pressing the pedal and how tired they are. Set the timer for your film once, and every seal after that is the same seal. That consistency is why fulfilment operations and production packing benches specify the automatic heat sealer over the manual.

What is the difference between the PSF605A and PSF605?
Both are 600mm foot pedal sealers. The PSF605A has an automatic timer that controls the seal cycle, giving consistent results without operator timing. The PSF605 is manual with a wider 5mm seal. Choose the PSF605A for consistency and speed. Choose the PSF605 if you need the stronger 5mm seal for heavier bags.
What is the difference between the PSF605A and PSF605X2A?
The PSF605A heats from one side (single heat). The PSF605X2A heats from both sides (double heat) with a 5mm seal width. Double heat is needed for thicker films, laminates, and multi-layer materials that single-sided heat can't penetrate reliably.
What materials can this sealer handle?
Standard polythene, polypropylene, and lighter laminate films up to 2 x 150 micron. For heavier gauge materials, foil laminates, or multi-layer films, you'll need a double heat model like the PSF605X2A or a constant heat sealer.
Do I have to set the timer for every bag?
No. You set the timer once for the film you are running, and the machine repeats that cycle on every press of the pedal. You only adjust it when you change to a different film thickness.
