The PSF605X2A combines a 600mm double heat seal with automatic foot pedal operation. Both jaws heat simultaneously for reliable penetration through thicker films, and the automatic timer controls the seal cycle so every bag gets a consistent result.
The 5mm seal width can be converted to 8mm for heavier material. Pedestal mounted at 870mm working height, sealing bags up to 580mm wide across films from 2 x 25 to 2 x 150 micron, at up to 6 packages per minute. This is the top of the double-heat 600mm line: if you can do the timing yourself, the manual PSF605X2 does the same seal for less.
This is the specification production lines choose when the material is hard and the volume is steady: double heat to weld thick films, laminates, and gusseted bags through their full thickness, and an automatic cycle so the hundredth seal of the shift matches the first.

Common questions
What does double heat mean?
Double heat means both the top and bottom jaws contain heating elements. Standard (single heat) sealers heat from one side only. Double heat gives better penetration through thicker polythene, laminates, foil-lined bags, and multi-layer films where single-sided heat can't reach the inner layers reliably.
When do I need the 8mm seal width conversion?
The 8mm conversion is for very heavy materials or bags carrying significant weight where the standard 5mm seal needs reinforcing. Most applications work well with 5mm. If you're sealing thick foil laminates, heavy sacks, or bags over 5kg, the 8mm option adds extra bond strength.
What is the difference between the PSF605X2A and PSF605X2?
Both are 600mm double heat foot sealers. The PSF605X2A has an automatic timer for consistent, hands-off seal cycles. The PSF605X2 is manual, giving you direct control over seal duration. The automatic model costs slightly more but reduces operator variability on production lines.
How much does an automatic double heat sealer cost?
