The PSF605X2A-HD is the heavy-duty version of our 600mm automatic double heat sealer, built for larger bags, sacks, and foil-based laminates that put real weight on the machine. The heavy-duty stand takes that load; the double 5mm seal, heated from both jaws, takes the thicker material.
Switch-operated foot sealing keeps both hands free, and in automatic mode the jaws close at pre-set intervals so the operator just feeds bags. Working height is 900mm. The adjustable timer covers films from 2 x 25 to 2 x 150 micron per side, at up to 10 packages per minute. Supplied with heavy-duty stand, pedestal, adjustable worktable, and a spare element.

Important note
A spike in electrical demand can occur for a fraction of a second as the jaws close and heat is applied, which can trip the breaker. This is common with motors on start-up, so we recommend a C type breaker (motor rated) or a B32 type. A B type breaker may trip when current exceeds the limit for around 100 milliseconds, whereas a C type allows a longer period before tripping.

What makes this the heavy-duty model?
The frame. The heavy-duty stand takes the weight of larger bags and sacks during the seal, the build is 55kg against the standard model's 25kg, power is 2000W, and the working height rises to 900mm. It is built for lines where the filled bag itself is heavy.
What is the difference between the PSF605X2A-HD and the standard PSF605X2A?
Same 600mm double heat seal and automatic operation. The HD adds the heavy-duty stand, doubles the power to 2000W, and runs faster at up to 10 packages per minute. If your bags are light, the standard PSF605X2A saves you money.
What materials does it handle?

The PSF605X2A-HD is £649 ex VAT, including the heavy-duty stand, pedestal, adjustable worktable, and a spare element. If your bags are light enough for the standard stand, the PSF605X2A does the same seal for less.
