The PSH502C is the widest hand impulse heat sealer in the PackSealer family. It seals bags up to 480mm wide with a built-in side cutter, making it the go-to for larger packaging operations handling A3 documents, clothing bags, or wide polythene tubing.

Same cutter mechanism as the 400mm PSH402C: seal the bag, then slide the blade across to trim off the excess. Useful when cutting bags from roll stock or tubing to custom lengths. The 600W element handles films from 2 x 25 to 2 x 150 micron, with throughput of 6 to 10 packages per minute. Supplied with a spare element, PTFE strip, and cutter blade ready to go.

Common questions

How does the cutter work?

The blade is built into the sealer arm. Seal the bag first, then slide the cutter across the width to trim the excess, or to cut a bag to length from roll stock or polythene tubing. Same mechanism as the 400mm PSH402C, on a wider jaw.

Can I make my own bags with it?

Yes. Run polythene layflat tubing or roll stock up to 480mm wide through it: seal the bottom, cut to length, fill, then seal the top. At this width that covers clothing bags and A3 packaging without stocking pre-made sizes.

What spares does it take?

Element wire, PTFE strip, and cutter blade. A spare of each comes in the box, and the PSH502 spares kit covers replacements. Elements are made here in the UK and held in stock.
